FAQ
Why isn’t your entry plan €3.79 like some providers?
Those ultra-low plans often come with an availability note: they don’t receive new capacity and are only offered when other users cancel. We guarantee capacity at order — no lottery — and include unmetered traffic (FUP) and daily backups (7 days). For production, that usually means a lower total cost and fewer surprises.
How is billing calculated - hourly or monthly?
Virtual servers are billed hourly with a clear monthly cap. The price shown on the plan page is the maximum you’ll pay if a VM runs 24/7 for a full month (we use 730 hours). If you create or delete a server mid-month, you pay only for the hours used. Note that persistent resources (e.g., attached storage, reserved IPv4) are billed while allocated.
How are credits and my account balance applied to charges?
We apply ServersCamp Credits first, then your account balance, and finally your saved payment method or invoice. Credits auto-apply to eligible services until used or expired, they’re non-withdrawable, non-transferable, non-refundable, and may have an expiry date shown in your dashboard.
Do you guarantee capacity at order time?
Yes. We run with deliberate headroom (≤60% RAM per hypervisor) and keep standby hosts, so instances launch immediately—no “capacity lottery.”
Are backups included? What’s the retention?
Daily backups are included with 7-day retention. For critical data, keep an additional off-site copy, we can help design that.
How do you prevent “noisy neighbors”?
Capacity headroom, monitoring, and per-VM resource controls. If a workload misbehaves, we’ll notify you and help tune or re-shape.
Can you run and support our workload for us?
Yes. We offer managed DevOps: design, provisioning, GitOps pipelines, monitoring/alerts, backups, and incident response.
Where are your data centers located?
We operate in Germany and Romania; France is planned. All hardware is hosted in Tier III–class facilities inside private cages we control.
Are you renting hardware?
No. We operate our own racks and hardware in private cages.
How stable is your internal network?
We use dual NICs with LACP bonding, host uplinks run at 25/40 Gbps to redundant top-of-rack switches. The fabric is fully redundant for stability.
Bandwidth, traffic, usage limits for virtual machines?
Each VM has a 10 Gbps shared uplink with unmetered traffic (FUP applies).
What does “Unmetered” mean in practice?
We don’t bill per-GB on the stated port speed. Fair Use Policy applies to protect overall network quality; if sustained load continuously saturates the port or degrades neighbors, we’ll reach out (or temporarily rate-limit) and suggest the right plan.
