Ping — Measure latency and availability from our datacenters

Ping is a network diagnostic tool that tests the reachability of a host and measures round-trip time for packets. It helps identify connectivity issues, packet loss, and network latency. Use ping to quickly check if a server is responding and measure the time it takes for packets to travel.

MTR — Combined routing and latency diagnostics from our datacenters

MTR (My Traceroute) is a network diagnostic tool that combines the functionality of traceroute and ping. It continuously sends packets to show real-time statistics about packet loss and latency at each hop. Use MTR to identify network issues, monitor route stability, and get detailed performance metrics for troubleshooting.
