A routing issue on our internet uplink kept external bandwidth well below what the network can carry. Servers now get up to 10 Gbit/s to and from the internet. Traffic between your servers was not affected. If you benchmarked us before, run it again.
Floating IPs are now billed at EUR 3 a month, the price on our pricing page. Billing is hourly and runs from reserve to release, attached or not. The price is shown on the Reserve page and in the list. Release addresses you don't use to stop the charge.
Recovery codes are accepted with or without the hyphen. The first code after setting up 2FA is accepted, and reopening the setup dialog keeps the same QR code. A code entered at the end of its 30-second window still counts. An expired sign-in step now sends you back to sign in instead of reporting a valid code as invalid.
One Warden threat list was not applied, a ban did not close connections already open from the banned address, and Blocked 24h showed a placeholder. Threat lists and bans are now enforced at the edge of our network, before traffic reaches your server. A ban applies within about a second and drops existing connections. Blocked 24h shows actual drop counts per list.
Deleting a server with a floating IP attached could leave the address stuck on the deleted server. The address now returns to your account as reserved, and you can attach it to another server or release it.
Revoke others and Sign out everywhere also ended your current session, and a revoked session kept working for up to a few minutes. Your current session now stays signed in, and revoked sessions are rejected on their next request.
Warden filters traffic from the internet, so it needs a public address. On a server without one the Warden tab showed an empty dashboard. It now points you to attaching a floating IP. Protection starts within seconds of attaching one and stops when you detach it. The tab also loads faster and shows what is still loading.
The server's public DNS name and PTR record now update when you attach or detach a floating IP, so reverse DNS checks, for mail for example, see the right address.
The sessions list and known devices showed an internal client name instead of your browser. They now show the browser and OS, for example Chrome on Windows. Existing devices update on your next sign-in, with no new-device email.
An uploaded profile picture showed on the settings page but was broken in the Cloud Panel header. Pictures from Google and GitHub were not affected.
