We ran a product SaaS where every customer got a dedicated Postgres. With fifty databases any hosting works. Somewhere past two hundred, deciding where each one lives turns into a full-time job.
The databases had to be fast, survive the death of their node, restore in minutes and grow without downtime. And the price had to fit what a working product actually earns.
Local arrays were fast but pinned every database to one box, and a restore took a night. The distributed storage we tried could not hold the IOPS. Renting the performance cost more than the databases earned.
Replicated NVMe storage, live migration, disks that grow online. It began as an internal platform for our own databases, then outgrew the product it was built for. That platform became ServersCamp.
People who outgrew simple solutions but don't need enterprise complexity
This is the case the platform was built for: storage that holds its latency under load, backups that restore in minutes, disks that grow while the app is running.
APIs, workers, caches, queues, S3 buckets: everything that turns a database into a product lives next to it, on the same private network and the same invoice.
Websites, builds, game servers, VPN boxes. A fast VM with fast disks is useful everywhere, and here it stands on database-grade hardware.

Hourly rate times hours used, and that is the whole formula. Egress and API calls cost nothing. The calculator shows the exact number you will see on the invoice. We make money when you use more resources, not when you get confused by the bill.
Full API, a CLI, a Terraform provider. Everything you can click in the panel you can script, because we script it ourselves. We build these tools for our own daily work first.
We wrote the control panel, the orchestration, the billing and the node agents ourselves. There is no Proxmox or OpenStack underneath. When something breaks we fix it the same day, and your bug report lands with the person who wrote that code.
A sustained VM keeps its CPU no matter what the neighbors are doing; burst VMs share the headroom under rules the scheduler enforces every second. We sell the machines we own, and the load graphs show it.
Your data lives in European datacenters, under European law, run by a European company. There is no parent company on another continent to answer to. GDPR compliance comes with the territory.
