Telegram bot
@serverscamp_bot is a direct line to support and a channel for account notifications. Write to it and your message becomes a support ticket. Support replies come back in the same chat, along with the notifications you choose.
Link your account
- Open @serverscamp_bot and press Start.
- Answer Yes, link my account. The bot sends a one-time link, valid for 10 minutes.
- Open the link and sign in to the Cloud Panel if asked. The page shows which Telegram asks to be linked and to which account.
- Tick what the bot may send you and confirm.
The bot confirms in the chat, and you get an email that a Telegram was linked to your account. If you did not do it, disconnect it in the Cloud Panel.
Each person links their own Telegram. In a team, every member who wants the bot links it from their own Cloud Panel login.
What the bot sends
| Category | What it covers | Email too |
|---|---|---|
| Support | Replies to your tickets, a reminder when a ticket waits for your answer, a note when it is closed | Yes |
| Servers | Monitoring alerts, disk auto-extend, a new server is ready | Alerts by rule. A new server only when Telegram is not linked |
| Billing | Low balance, auto top-up, servers paused or powered off, deletion notice. Always on | Yes |
Support and Servers can be switched off with /settings in the bot, or in the Cloud Panel under Settings, Profile, Telegram. Billing cannot: money and stopped servers always reach you in both places. Monitoring alerts also need a rule that sends to Telegram, see Monitoring & alerts.
When you create a server and have the bot linked with Servers on, the "server is ready" message with the addresses and a view-once password link comes to Telegram instead of email.
Sign-ins from a new device, new sign-in methods and other security notices go by email only. If someone takes over your Telegram, it is not where you should learn about it.
Writing to support
Write a message, attach photos or files if needed. The bot asks where it goes: into one of your open tickets or a new ticket. Messages you send before answering join the same draft. Nothing reaches support until you choose.
After you pick a ticket, or when support replies in one, your next messages in the chat go straight into that ticket for 24 hours. Use /new to start another ticket instead.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/tickets | Your open tickets, with a button to write in each |
/new | Start a new ticket |
/settings | What the bot sends you |
/unlink | Disconnect this Telegram from your account |
/help | The list of commands |
The bot works in private chats only. Added to a group, it stays silent.
Not a customer yet? Answer No, I have a question and the bot tells you where to ask.
Monitoring alerts in Telegram
Alert messages go to everyone in the account who linked the bot with Servers turned on. A message about a problem has Silence 1 h and Silence 24 h buttons that mute that alert on that server. Each message links to the server and to Alert settings.
Each account gets at most 20 alert messages an hour and 100 a day in Telegram. Past that you get one message that alerts are paused and until when.
One Telegram, one account
A Telegram account links to one ServersCamp account at a time. If it is already linked to another account, the link page says so and does nothing. To move it:
- Send
/unlinkto the bot, or press Disconnect in the Cloud Panel of the account it is linked to now. - Write any message to the bot and link again from the other account.
You do not need to touch your alert rules for any of this. When the last working Telegram leaves an account (unlinked, the bot blocked, or Servers switched off), rules that sent to Telegram switch to the owner's email, so alerts keep coming. When a Telegram works there again, including the first one you link, they switch back by themselves. Rules you set channels on by hand stay as you set them.
Disconnect
Send /unlink in the bot, or press Disconnect under Settings, Profile, Telegram. The bot stops sending anything, and your messages there no longer reach support. Your tickets stay in the Cloud Panel.
If you block the bot in Telegram, it notices and stops sending. The Cloud Panel shows it as blocked. Write to the bot again to unblock it.
