Disks now come in two kinds instead of twelve tiers. Standard gives up to 100,000 IOPS and 1 GB/s for EUR 80 per TB. Enterprise runs on drives with power-loss protection and gives up to 200,000 IOPS and 2 GB/s for EUR 130 per TB. Both give their full speed from 25 GB, and either can be dedicated.
The 25 GB root disk that comes free with every server ran at 5,000 IOPS. It is now a Standard disk with 100,000 IOPS and stays free. Basic servers no longer have their own 50,000 IOPS ceiling.
Creating a server or a volume in the Cloud Panel is now one page with the price in view. Disk auto-extend is set right under the disk, up to the size you choose.
Cloud VMs and volumes have their own API reference with an example for every operation and an OpenAPI file. Creating a server accepts an Idempotency-Key, so a retried request does not make a second one.
